Rob Tunheim is an Associate in the General Corporate & Business and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups at FMJ. His practice focuses on representing businesses from various industries with their legal needs.
Rob understands that client relationships are built on trust and communication and helps clients to solve issues before they become problems in order to create long term value to solidify that trust. He brings a practical, solution-oriented approach to his practice which clients appreciate.
Prior to joining FMJ, Rob was an international tax consultant at a leading global provider of audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk advisory, tax, and related services. He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law with a concentration in business law and his B.A. in Political Science and Economics from St. Olaf College.

Rob enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter in Orono. When not in the office Rob is likely enjoying the great outdoors or chasing after his daughter. Specifically, he enjoys golfing, hiking, and cross-country skiing. Rob is a fervent Minnesota sports fan who cheers on his team in good times and bad. As an avid traveler, Rob is always in search of a new destination for a family vacation.
